He has more chance of being the leading run scorer than Yuvraj the way I see it.I haven't added Prior too,so i won't talk about him either.

Simple reason can be that i haven't added keepers from the either sides & included 5 batsmen each from both sides, excluding Mukund & Morgan for obvious reasons. He has more chance of being the leading run scorer than Yuvraj the way I see it.
He was actually dropped & Raina came in for him in past few test series. But now looking at his WC winning performance & Raina's not so good performance in WI,Yuvraj would be the first preference in the first test. And also, his bowling capabilities will give him an edge over Raina.Don't even think Yuvraj will play ahead of Raina tbh.
What are the obvious reasons for leaving Morgan out, especially as you included Yuvrj who may not even play? What if I want to vote for Morgan?Simple reason can be that i haven't added keepers from the either sides & included 5 batsmen each from both sides, excluding Mukund & Morgan for obvious reasons.
Raina was actually really good in the West Indies; played some really important innings. And ODIs should have nothing to do with it.He was actually dropped & Raina came in for him in past few test series. But now looking at his WC winning performance & Raina's not so good performance in WI,Yuvraj would be the first preference in the first test. And also, his bowling capabilities will give him an edge over Raina.
Ok,you give me an answer. Can Morgan be the leading run scorer?? Practically possible but but not favourable. But Yuvraj is quite experienced & he has scored more than 8000 runs in ODI cricket. So we can expect him to compete. What are the obvious reasons for leaving Morgan out, especially as you included Yuvrj who may not even play? What if I want to vote for Morgan?
Not that good TBH.Yuvraj will still edge him out.Atleast for the first test.Raina was actually really good in the West Indies; played some really important innings. And ODIs should have nothing to do with it.
haha.........going through the conversation on this and the previous page it struck me as well that there is no differentiation between tests and ODIs for some of the posters hereDon't know why I'm surprised that the man who wants Prior dropped for Kieswetter can't tell the difference between Tests and ODIs.
You mean its not just a change of outfit?Don't know why I'm surprised that the man who wants Prior dropped for Kieswetter can't tell the difference between Tests and ODIs.
Nope, that's the first option on the pollCan only assume KP is the hilarious, irrelevant option.
Trott.
Raina played well in WI, and Yuvraj has always been good at ODI's and mediocre at tests, form in ODI does not translate to form in tests - Virat Kohli is one of the top ranked ODI batsmen atm but he failed miserably in the tests. He was actually dropped & Raina came in for him in past few test series. But now looking at his WC winning performance & Raina's not so good performance in WI,Yuvraj would be the first preference in the first test. And also, his bowling capabilities will give him an edge over Raina.

Yuvraj has been superb in ODIs recently & now he has come back to test squad based on his performance in ODIs.Now if i am predicting that he may also do well in tests means that i don't know the difference between tests & ODIs.I don't know why people come up with such stupid comments. They can imagine that Cook will surpass Tendulkar in 12 years,& they are right for themselves. And if someone thinks Yuvraj can score 500 runs in a 4 test match series,he doesn't know the difference between tests & ODIs.What a shame!haha.........going through the conversation on this and the previous page it struck me as well that there is no differentiation between tests and ODIs for some of the posters here
Ok tell me why did Virat Kohli get a chance in tests?? Because he had done really well for India in ODIs.Didn't we expect him to be the same in tests too?? Although he failed on those not so high scoring pitches,is a different thing altogether.Raina played well in WI, and Yuvraj has always been good at ODI's and mediocre at tests, form in ODI does not translate to form in tests - Virat Kohli is one of the top ranked ODI batsmen atm but he failed miserably in the tests.
People like you have been saying this for the last 22 years & are being proved wrong every single time.Nope, that's the first option on the poll
