If I was the legal age, I would go and put £5 on New Zealand winning the trophy.

You heard it here first.

Isn't the gambling age 18 anyway though?
It's one of the few things I'm not actually 100% sure on. Fags, alcohol, vids, etc. I'm all fine with. But gambling? Never done a thing relating to it.

I do know for a fact, however, that I was buying lottery tickets at 16.

Well, in Australia, the gambling age is 18. I don't think you'll find any places where it is 16... although in some parts of the world, it is either 21 or totally banned.

And in every state except South Australia, the lottery tickets/scratchie age is also 18 - for some reason though, it's 16 in SA.

I'll say it again.

No chance.

Lightning striking twice is even more unlikely than it striking once.

There is not no chance of them beating West Indies, South Africa or New Zealand.

"No chance" was an exaggeration on my part and you know it.

I don't think Ireland have a hope in hell of winning a game in the Super 8 stage except for possibly against Bangladesh if they qualify, and this is from someone who genuinely predicted their defeat of Pakistan.
