Players who played way more internationals than they should

Trying to avoid sidetracking the thread, but I don't think Botham was merely in Khan's class.........as a batsman anyway. Khan had one century in his first 45 tests, Botham had 10 in his first 50.

Botham in his pomp transcended the term all rounder - absolutely peerless - in 1981 for those four tests after he lost the captaincy he was simply unbelievable

You guys really should vote when voting becomes available in the auction draft thread. I Botham makes an appearance at number 6 in one of the teams.

I think it really does come down to full careers vs. peak performances for Botham. I must say that I'm starting to look at him more for his peaks, it's not his fault that a suitable replacement was never found, so he kept playing at a level lower then 100% that was still good enough to stay in the best XI.

Fo' sho', Botham's best batting > Imran's best batting, even though the averages were similar or in Imran's favour. But nonetheless, Botham's bowling never > Imran's, and Imran's bowling >>>>>>>>> Botham's from '82/83 onwards.
