Totally within the laws of the game what Srl Lanka did.
Whether it's in the spirit of the game is a matter of opinion.

Stokes didn't intend the 4 overthrows, did he though? Sri-lanka pretty clearly intended to stump iman.

Dickwella has been fined for this sort of thing before. Either it's against the laws and it shouldn't be given out or it's within them and shouldn't be fined. Doesn't make sense for the umpire to give out a delayed stumping and then fine the keeper for being a prick.

C'mon Shady, the highlights have been up for a while now.

I can certainly see why it was controversial, but nothing wrong with it in a close reading of the laws. I'd only question whether his spike was actually not touching the ground.
