Just start a new one mate then those of us who haven't read this one can in our ignorance believe that it contains high quality debate.:)

Evidently, past and present pace lists do not work so best just make this a present project. This will be based on players who have played since speed guns and during their prime.

Ok, I just wanted the update to show the current list of fastest bowlers since speed guns came about. Best to get rid of all those who have been speculated and add D.Fernando at 91mph and Malinga at 92.5mph.

Are pace bowlers getting slower these days? We don't see the kind of firepower in bowling attacks that we'd associate with those in the 1980's and before, or even in some teams in the 90's, in today's attacks. Or are speed-guns showing most pacers to be relatively slow and docile?
