It's a list of 30 from which the 15 will be chosen - doesn't mean he's in the squad, or Moin is.

Incidentally, can't find anything about it on Cricinfo...

Anwar will probably get the call now I think. I read in a local newspaper that he's just returned from a religious tour and now will be avalable for selection. Should strenghten the batting, only if he can score consistently now.

Not sure about that, from what i've learnt Saeed is not going to be picked for the SA series(test and onedayers) then on what basis is he going to get a recall? especially since it will be the last series in which Pak players will be in action b4 WC.

The only way Saeed is gonna make it, is if Elahi suxs badly in SA( likely) and Saeed gets some runs in domestic cricket!

Yeah he did well against a depleted Zimb bowling line up, some bowlers were said to be schol kids!

Well...I would love to be optimistic but in Elahi's case, it always seems like putting urself at stake. I dont think the guy ahs the technique to tackle bouncy wickets. Plus his shuffling on the pitch, the quality of the bowling he has faced mean that those three innings were in the dark. We'll see in SA.

You guys are making Saleem Elahi sound like Wajahatullah Wasti, but from what I saw of him some time ago he didnt look that bad. I guess like Gotchya said the best test will be in SA.
