*Official* World Test Championship Final at The Oval – June 7–11, 2023

Shri

Mr. Glass
Would back us to win if we had Pant even now.

Cummins deserves this after his rough year. Not that this will fill that hole but he'll at least feel great for a few days/weeks

Lyon bowling so little, along with the fact that he was dropped three times and lbw off a no ball, was a major contributing factor to Rahane making those first dig runs IMO. Lyon's dismissed him more than anyone else in Test cricket and Moeen is second. Gets away with it a bit more overseas but he's a notoriously horrible player of off spin for a right handed Indian batsman. Backing Lyon to get him cheap here.

He's sucked against every kind of bowling for years which has made things confusing.

It's really weird, NGL. There was a 3 year stretch before he got dropped where he was getting dropped by fielders as often as nicholls/marnus but was only averaging low 30's.
Tbf that is kinda balanced by the first 3-4 years of his career when he was getting sawn off by the umpires but was still averaging 50 odd. Think @Teja. made a thread about it.
