Daemon finally wising up to the Way of the Burgey. These players need to get their priorities right. Same with these blokes going home when their partners are punching out a sprog. Woeful.

He has already said in an interview he wants to bat with #intent.

Honestly, a mentally freed up Rahane swinging for the fences at 5 may not be our worst bet right now given both Shreyas and Pant, who tend to play similar roles for us, are out injured. Jadeja can drop anchor at 6 and we may still yet debut Ishy Kishy if they play 4 seamers.

After the shenanigans India pulled in the last series I want to thrash them so bad. I'd prefer an Ashes win, but not by that much.

What shenanigans though? Aus basically had a 90 minute sweep-a-thon brain fade in Delhi which went a long way to costing them the series. That and deciding to play BBL instead of warm up matches.

Whilst it's an understandable default position to assume nefarious means on the part of the Indian team in general, on this rare occasion I don't think they can be accused of anything untoward at all.

He has a good record away against Australia, albeit in different conditions. I can see it working for them in this game.
