It's going to be a real shame that in this innings that fancy "average vs spin" / "average vs pace" stat will actually mean something

Maybe 2 or 3 were wicket talking balls but the rest got out to pressure built consistently bowling proper line and length. I think we'll be all right with the bat. This pitch or conditions isn't more demanding than some of the conditions we get at home.

Side note but has there been any era with so many class pace attacks running around like there is now? Every top 7/8 team have a world class pace attack and the top 4/5 all have fairly good pace depth. Could allow cop an injury or two and not suffer hugely.

90s had amazing first choice attacks or should I say pairs but not so great with the supporting cast
