So glad the Dutch made it too!!!

Mr. Kohli, I love your posting style and general enthusiasm, but, and I mean this in the kindest way, it would sometimes help if you could be a spot more, umm, accurate, maybe?

Surely the greatest chokers known in cricket can't choke this,, although maybe the "pressure" of a 7th place play off might be to much? :clapping:

Netherlands vs Scotland in a direct play off to qualify for the World Cup

Excellent to see another European Team being involved in the forthcoming World Cup

Looks like it's down to either a 31 runs or 35 ball victory for the Dutch to qualify. Either way, fantastic to see a team outside the top 12 qualifying.

To put how big this is in perspective - this game on Thursday should've been the playoff for the next edition of the Super League. Now no matter who wins, both teams have exactly 0 scheduled ODIs against any of the full members in this next four year cycle.

So many ups and down in this tournament. Zimbabwe steam rolling in group stages but finding themselves just short when it mattered most. Scotland with full throttle at the back end and Netherlands just hanging in there somehow. This is a big **** you to icc from the non full members. And despite getting fewer matches (in fact no matches at all) against full members, they are performing well again and again. Imagine with all the help what they would have achieved by now. All these countries (associates or non) should make it to the WC. I’m sure it would have been great if all of Zimbabwe, WI, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland participated in this WC. They would have been very competitive and likewise would have kicked one or two full members out of the tournament very early.

Big F u to ICC. Scotland and Netherlands have been playing cricket since the 1900s and havent become test nations yet. All these barriers against them is the reason. F U icc from the bottom of me….@
