looking at NRR, Kenya's ODI status looks to be in the bag unless we get flogged in both remaining games. LAst WC place could be on NRR too

Yeah Canada, Ireland, Kenya and Holland all basically have secured their ODI status. It all now about the World Cup spots now. Ireland and Canada are basically through. But Scotland could still knock them out, though I don't think their NRR is great.

Imagine 4 years of development effort being wasted on some arbitrary mathematics :Jumpy:

Would not want to be the unlucky sods who end up on the wrong end

Scotland will play against Afghanistan and UAE. I think the Scots won't make it though. They have to get passed either Kenya or Holland. The Scottish NRR is indeed poor and it seems they only have a decent chance to surpass the Dutch. But that would require rather firm losses by the Dutch against both the Irish and the Canadians.

firm loss against the irish is always on the card, and I do believe even without RtD we are stronger then Canada.

Don't really agree with that, been very impressed with the Canadians so far in this tournament.

Two big, big games coming up for the Dutch. one win should be enough to qualify, unless the winner of Scotland vs UAE also wins its other match, In that case it comes down to NRR.

Tomorrow vs. Ireland the Dutch will be firm underdogs, I'm not expecting anything from that game.

On Friday vs Canada is another story. I'd normally rate the Dutch as being a better side than the "Canadians". However, Canada have been in great form so far and I actually hope they will qualify for the WC on Wednesday and forget about Friday's match.

If indeed the Dutch fail to qualify for the WC while RTD is watching the rain fall down from the Essex pavillion...the RTDAS will be disbanded to be replaced by a "hit RTD" darts comp.
