Look at the demographic of the show ffs - cashed up bogans all. They're your Hilux driving, Kuta holidaying, tradie, botox and fillers wannabe crowd which all grab Family Tax Benefit A while saying they've never had a handout. They aren’t though. They parlay their mediocrity into 15 minutes of fame and sometimes more. They’re basically taking a punt theyll somehow get a long term break in the entertainment industry from it/ find a pathway to a bit of fame and dough. Sure it doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. The downside is they often end up the objects of ridicule and fade away to obscurity/ get damaged by it/ end up being the subject of landmark legal decisions
