Cricketer Of The Year
That went pretty well, ran out of steam a touch in the end but that total is a very competitive one indeed

India's best chance is if someone (Verma probably the most likely) comes out all guns blazing from ball one. Strong Australian attack but a couple of times they haven't had the answers when somebody goes full throttle

Man the fans and media back home watching Indian Women's cricket for the first time today are going to have a field day with this

silver lining is that this side is mostly young, and hopefully it's the kick up the back the BCCI needs to make the set up more professional

Australia well deserved champs after all their hard work in growing women's cricket + arranging this great tournament. India just needs to put up some sort of fight here. Give the fans something to watch.

I mean big stage nerves are a thing. The crowd, the occasion, the whole thing is completely beyond the frame of experience for any of these players

Australia are a couple of classes apart TBH.

India did very well not to lose a game so far, and while I didn't watch the first match, it must have taken an underperformance from Australia to pull off that upset. India aren't one of the best two teams in the event IMO and they were always going to struggle against a fully firing Australia.

Australia definitely choked a bit in that game I feel. Pretty low target that Australia didn't really look like chasing down. At least here the target you got set was kind of daunting.

We even nearly lost to Sri Lanka, we've definitely peaked at the right time.

I mean the innings really could've gone very differently if Healy was caught in the first over. Even if Mooney and Lanning built a big partnership it wouldn't have been at anything like the rate with which Healy batted. And a chase in the 140-150 region is just totally different.
