While your point stands, it is technically tougher for India to adjust here (to foreign conditions) but they are off to a decent start as it stands.alyssa healy who's on the hot mic has noted that it's always difficult to adjust at the start of a test for the women because they don't play the format enough. it is the same problem as countries like zimbabwe and the new nations when they get the odd match - we need more women's tests (and those with those other countries)
don't disagree with your point generally however i should add (and this is my fault for not including it with the original post) that she was talking specifically finding the test length vs the length they bowl in the LOIs which is what they're used toWhile your point stands, it is technically tougher for India to adjust here (to foreign conditions) but they are off to a decent start as it stands.
It doesn't need much adjusting to hold on to your chances that come your way and Aus have dropped two catches in the last three overs I've watched.
the solution here imho is the boring but correct one that being they need to be paid more, especially those on the fringesThe fielding and catching by ALL Women's cricket teams is with the odd exception THE BIGGEST PROBLEM with the game, and it's the easiest to fix, practice, practice, practice.
It might be the least enjoyable part of cricket, but it's the most important one.
