Yeah. Both games on the same drop in. There'll be a rugby game there tomorrow nightAre the men playing on the same pitch? If so, looks like a 200 pitch, so the batting would seem to have been more of an issue in setting a completely undefendable target.
Pakistan Men proved that even 200 wasn't remotely par, so the NZ women were miles away in what now looks a pretty bizarre innings.Yeah. Both games on the same drop in. There'll be a rugby game there tomorrow night
Yeah, I've got no idea where they go. NSB is now well into her 30's and has suffered some mental health issues, I don't see how she can really be an option. The only other name I can think of who is just about a guarantee, seems pretty level headed and is of a decent fitness is Charlie Dean. And in further unsurprising news Heather Knight sacked as Captain.
The biggest issue is the lack of succession planning. NSB not cut for it, Jones doesn't want it, Ecclestone should be nowhere near it and others not guaranteed a start.
Her run up and action have been coached so thoroughly she's not sure where the stumps are currently. Which is such a shame. She had serious potential. Is Issy Wong not on the radar any more?
For me, short term Beaumont in all three formats with a younger VC - Charlie Dean been mentioned of course as has fast tracking Grace Scrivens.Yeah, I've got no idea where they go. But I suspect it'll be NSB and I can't see it going well.
Beaumont is basically the same age as Knight though. I quite like the idea of fast tracking Scrivens, similar to a Graeme Smith kind of move. There's enough experience for her to lean on in the team, but she might just provide a breath of fresh air that allows others to blossom. For me, short term Beaumont in all three formats with a younger VC - Charlie Dean been mentioned of course as has fast tracking Grace Scrivens.
