Wareham hasn't been great. Overpitched consistently, which is the one thing you can't do
A leg spinner is precisely the one you wouldn't want to give the ball to at this stage as they are more likely to leak runs. Like she did against India too in the last game.

Aus have lost their way a fair bit in the last few overs. Forgotten their own plans, which definitely don't involve half volleys.

EDIT: Another half volley, another boundary. Not sure why they're not getting the message

Ash Gardner reminds everyone of how to bowl to a plan.

EDIT: And yet another half volley for another boundary. Aus really making much more of a game of this than it needs to be

That's probably that then, looked stone dead live. Laura will probably wonder why she didn't try to hit it straight again

They've been nowhere near their best in the last two games but even so, getting it done regardless. Just an extraordinary sporting team.

Whatever it takes!!!
Think we will see a 2008 situation emerge soon with Women's cricket, with Australia losing some key players and India emerging how they did around the time IPL started off on the men's side.

I wouldn’t bet on it as the popularity of women’s cricket is exploding in Australia and is backed by big $ from government

Just as likely that Australia improves as the sport will attract a better caliber of athlete
