Judging by the scores in 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings, you'd have to say this was won & lost on Day 1 when WI bowled well and England batted poorly.
Even if we hadn't declared, I reckon WI would still have had time to up the run rate and chase this down.

Perhaps but it certainly would have made it that bit harder.

I never pull against England but ever since we made that declaration I've sort of almost thought I'm not as bothered as normal if we lose.

WI have batted very well.
Our bowling has been mixed. As you may have just seen, we've had moments of bad luck but on the whole haven't created enough chances.
Cook dropped Brathwaite early on.
Stokes has barely had a bowl.
Woakes has looked completely rusty, as you'd expect.
Moeen has turned a few but rarely threatened.
Jimmy and Broad have been our best bets, but it hasn't quite happened for them.

Overall another crap performance at Headingley.
