Woakes at 9 is arguably worse/better, he actually is a perfectly orthodox decent Test batsman.
Don't think Moeen will be too distraught at seeing Bishoo rip it.

Haven't seen it recently, but I'm sure it'll recur, just like when he has a bad bowling innings people will say he's a poor bowler.
He's fine for England doing what he does, one of our few consistent things.

I saw one on KC the other day when England were bowled out, so it's still around, and we did start this summer trying to play him as a batsman.

And yes the 8th wicket partnership was strangely surreal. It was almost like England already had a 300+ lead when they came together. But it has been absolutely massive to England's chances.

Kind of situation where no one would be particularly bothered if Broad threw his wicket away so he'll probably bat till close.

Who is suggesting it?, we're 1-0 up in a three match series, ridiculous to even talk about it, anyway with Broad and Jimmeh batting it may not be an issue. fair enough if they play their shots and get out, because let's face it that's the best way of them making runs.
