Oooh Smith’s footwork behind the stumps on that slow mo of the ball which went for the leg bye was quite…. Something
Not coming as natural wk. Only first test match and never watched him before so dont want to be harsh but work needs to be done. Hes also standing a bit close for atkinson.

An absolute brilliant catch that reminded me a little of when stokes caught one when England had the Aussies at Trent bridge off broad

That’s the thread on Skysports that shows highlights as the game goes on

I don’t know if it works outside the uk though so sorry if that’s the case

Brilliant catch, but the comment about being one even Root would be proud of is hilarious.

Think the W Indies need to try to increase the rate as these conditions are so in favour of this England attack, they’ll get out soon anyway

How does a bloke who's not the number 1 choice keeper for their County get a Test debut...bloody Bazball!

Lunch 61 for 3 off 28

interesting session post lunch if the W Indies can survive and get over 100 odd for 3 or so

And Bashir can't he even get into his county side ahead of Leach, He had to go on loan to Worcestershire to get game time, He's got more wickets for England than he does in his entire domestic Redball career.

It's England's session, West Indies started off decently but then lost the plot after 10 overs ..

Braithwaite is largely to blame, such an experienced player wafting outside off, it's not even his game to be so attack, exposed the youngsters big time

Mikyle Louis...
I can't remember many batsmen from St.Kitts playing for the West Indies..
If he's the first that's a proud moment for his Island. He could get a stadium named after him like Sammy
Never mind St Kitts

His selection means there are two ex C*ckermouth players in this Test. For a small cricket club in a small town in Cumbria that is amazing.
