wow denly has 15 tests already. that takes a player from a normal nation 2-3 years.

i like his stoicism but he needs a score.
One would think, but Ed seems a big fan for whatever reason.

Being old Kent muckers is my guess, as a bloke in his mid 30s with an FC average of about the same doesn't maybe warrant the largesse that's been bestowed on him, regardless of the number of balls he eats up.

Unless the wheels fall off they?re not scoring quick enough to be in that position
Certainly not at present; at current rate we'll have barely wiped out the deficit when the 2nd new ball arrives. But the next four guys would all score more quickly if they stayed in. Big 'if' of course.

yea, but england do lack options and he has a test match temperament. going on what i've seen at test level and his county record for a guy who can clearly play, i do wonder if he lacks ruthlessness once set though. he also has a bit of a gate.
