Moooo
Time for some spin (Chase).
true, though i think he lacks the top end pace and movement of day 1 todayLargely agree with this, it's an orthodox field against two pretty unorthodox players.
That said, Gabriel got both these guys out by targeting the stumps in the first innings.
Yeah being able to score off so many balls in Chase's first over is a good sign of being 'in'.This is looking good for England.
Burns looks like he’s improved since last summer. I wondered at the time if he needed that run of good luck after debut to buy time to adapt.
Need more of that to start once the lead is over 150 actually.Inconsistent bounce there...need a few wickets asap
200 imo. 150 leaves you open to the greatest shots of all time, the edge through slips and the french cut.Need more of that to start once the lead is over 150 actually.
If the lead is 150 when it starts can still reach 200+ before innings is over you know.200 imo. 150 leaves you open to the greatest shots of all time, the edge through slips and the french cut.
100 is a good target to defendNeed more of that to start once the lead is over 150 actually.
yes, he's onIs Joseph broken? Or does his skipper just not fancy him too much?
The good thing so far has been they have been patient previously, not like they are desperate to keep the scoreboard ticking over like someone like KP would be and will take risks. This pair look like they are happy batting for a long time like Cook used to.I wonder how patient these two are. Virtually no runs in the last half hour isn't a huge problem if they see off Holder.
