Whatever it takes!!!
That was far simpler than the Roach one. But then again, Roach did drop him earlier, so some kind of karmic evening out, lol.

So if they get to 160 odd and then have a collapse and get bowled out for 180, will people fancy Windies managing 250+ in their dig? I think it can happen.

i notice that they seem to hustle through the overs quicker wen Gabriel isn't bowling. I think this is not a coincidence.

Thank goodness Buttler has remembered that when he has a bat in his hand he is allowed to actually use it. Big series for him even though he is vice captain in this game as I doubt he has many more chances left.

One thing I have noticed about Buttler and I have to dig up stats to see if they support this theory - but he seems to get to 20s and 30s often enough without looking bad but then gets out, out of nowhere. My theory is that given all the LO cricket he plays, he mentally gets into a state where he can play a bit more loose coz you don't have those catchers in that format.. Will be interesting to see if something like that happens today too.

I agree, I also think a lot of those dismissals when he’s in are quite soft dismissals, like a gentle chip to cover or catching mid wicket, or tickling one he needn’t play at that doesn’t do much.

Felt Stokes was overdoing the stuff moving around the wicket.. That was a peach of a ball, but he would have given himself a much better chance had he stood still facing up to the ball.
