*Official* West Indies Tour of England 2020

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
This was probably covered yesterday, but cricket really needs to move on from this 10 minute restart business. Just get on with it, this is the lightest drizzle imaginable. We waste so much time.

Whatever it takes!!!
He gets quite a lot of outswing to the right hander and into the left hander. I think he was asked to bowl back of a length to Stokes so we haven't really seen it.

Yeah, I am not sure that is a good idea anywhere, especially in England. You gotta let bowlers bowl their natural way and what they feel is the best way to get wickets. I remember sometime back, maybe before a tour of South Africa, when Andy Flower was coach of England, and there was word around the media that Stuart Broad has been asked to take an enforcer role in that attack and bowl back of length, rising, pacy stuff. He immediately shot that down and said his job would be to bowl the way that is most likely to get him wickets. Alzarri should do something like that. Just bowling back of length won't work against Stokes, although the odd bouncer and the odd short of length ball will help, as it would against any good batsman.

I know Wood did well in his last match, but I'd have thought Broad's an upgrade on him in every possible way? Surprised they didn't spin it as "resting" or "rotation policy" or something.

At least its gonna be a very watchable session.. Lesser maybe if they get these two or even one out but gonna be fun to watch.

Buttler is doing well not to chase those... For a batsman like him, that must be so tempting to launch a cover drive.
