Regardless of the result, Windies need to bin Bishoo for good. Brathwaite fancies himself more than the leggie.

Not-so-angelic Gabriel suspended from the next test. Jeez he's a blithering idiot.

Yep that was idiotic and he deserves the suspension. Still, I like his aggression, it makes a nice change from the midgets we've had for the last 10 years.

Excellent innings from Hetmeyer and Dowrich have kept us in this. The toss and the awful spells by Bishoo and Chase on day 1 might be decisive.

I agree. Cornwall needs to come in. He would have a massive impact on both our combined KGs, spin bowling and lower order batting. My team against England if I had to select it now:

Kraigg Braithwaite
Jermaine Blackwood (absence of options, worth a go)
Shai Hope
Roston Chase
Shimron Hetmeyer
Shane Dowrich
Jason Holder
Rakheem Cornwall/Shemar Lewis (depending on conditions)
Kemar Roach
Jamal Warrican
Shannon Gabriel

We've had a proliferation of midget fast bowlers. Tino Best, Fidel Edwards, Jerome Taylor, Lionel Baker, Kemar Roach, Kenroy Peters and many many more. Most of them were also very mild mannered. It's nice to have some big, tall and strong pacers coming through finally.

Great debut by Nayeem

Batted 74 minutes put on sterling 65 for 9th wicket

Took debut 5 fer.
I bet he might take more in last innings.

I suppose anyone would be an improvement over Bishoo.

Bangladesh were extremely lucky to win the toss; though they may still lose.

Mushy's got this imo. Only guy in the team who doesn't throw in the towel when things get dicey.

Worth promoting Hetmyer to 3 or 4? An hour or so of him and the Windies have got this. It’s a different game if he walks in with them 50 odd for 4 with the pressure on.
