You live up to your name I guess, now we just need Starc to finish this innings off with a Yorker
Even if he did it wouldn't refute my point. He is not nearly as good at delivering it as he was earlier in his career, and that has been the case for a number of years.

Well batted for the 50.

311 feels under par but it's still at least a score with 3 in front of it. And cruically, a big improvement from 5/64.

West Indies need 2, probably 3 wickets with the first 15 for Australia to not run away with it though. Pitch looks dead outside of the new ball.

6D chess by the Australian bowlers (and fielders) to only take the wickets just after ensuring they won't have to face a second new ball under lights tonight.

Well I don't have any data on hand to prove you wrong so will have to take your word for it

Incidentally an hour ago an interesting tidbit came up on the radio: of the four mainline Aus bowlers, Lyon (~21%) and Cummins (~18%) are way ahead of the other two (11-13%) as far as "proportion of wickets which break 50+ partnerships" go. Matches what I would have guessed.

Khawaja and Warner used to alternate facing the first ball however Smith has faced first ball all 3 times so far...

....he might regret that now lol

Smith opening, 29 runs @ 14.50

The Smith opening experiment not going too well, I don't know how the umpire didn't give that out initially, it looked plumb.
