All we had to do was do the very basic cricket thing where you have to hold on to the ball instead of dropping it.
someone may need to explain that further, as aussies in past 12 months or so seem to have failed to grasp not only the ball cleanly but what a catch is.....

Last test had a huge impact on ICC Player rankings. Labuschagne and Head dropped to 10 and 11 (was 4 and 5).

Shamar Joseph jumps from 92 to 50 in the bowling. Pretty good for only 2 Tests

Also another interesting stat - Aamer Jamal dismissed every Aus player at least once in the Aus vs PAK series. Shamar Joseph came within one Usman Khawaja wicket of replicating the feat in the Aus vs WI series.
This is an amazing stat, especially for Joseph who played in a two-Test series and didn't take the new ball. Bear in mind, also, that Usman left the crease in the 1st Test run chase because Joseph hit him.

Reports have Matt Short batting 7 with Inglis opening. That seems really dumb if true
That's really odd. Feel like their trying to force short into the maxwell role when he just doesn't do that in domestic cricket. He's also just not as good a player of spin as maxwell, while inglis is actually handy vs spin and can score fast. Based on that I feel like you'll get higher returns with short opening and inglis at 6/7.

Surely Head and Smith will open?

So funny that Matt Shorts speech at AB medal said his success was purely because they let him bat in the top order which he loves 😆

The source i saw could be complete bull**** lol but it had Smith at 4 with Head and Inglis opening

It seems so strange that I'm starting to think it probably isn't entirely accurate

Cricinfo has this order listed:

Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Cameron Green, Steven Smith (capt), Marnus Labuschagne, Matt Short, Aaron Hardie, Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Adam Zampa, Lance Morris

They say selectors want Short and Hardie to bat in lower order because they don't do it for their State. So the opposite of Green logic for batting 4 in Tests 😆

Oh yeah, Inglis has covid

Yeah that's the same one I saw. Nonsensical batting order

Good news for WI is that Aus have lost their their last two ODI series where they experimented with players (1-2 vs Ind and 2-3 vs SA).

Good news for Australia is that we lose every ODI series that's not against England, regardless of the opposition personnel.....

We are missing half of our strongest side. Honestly this lineup is going to be so weak.

I hope WI win as I'm sick of the Aus selectors setting the batting order (instead of the Captain)

Short at #7 with Inglis and Green at 2 and 3 is a joke (just like Green at 4 in Test side)

Don't know how much it is but Shamar Joseph has been given an "International Retainer" contract by West Indies. Would have to be a lot to keep him out of T20 leagues?
