Duminy what a knock! And how about that catch from Bravo...good cricket from these two sides. Windies always seem to step up in the ODI's.
Haha, didn't watch the match, did you?

Anyone else think Duminy's innings was a bit patchy? He did the job, but he was pretty chancy. In his 88 ball innings there were 5 hits on the pads, 7 play and misses, 6 leading or inside edges and his six had a good chance of being caught by a decent fieldsman.

I thought he timed the ball well in the middle of his innings. The start of it was certainly a bit edgy though and he actually looked a bit tired and loose towards the end, losing his concentration and playing a few strange shots. As you said though, it did win the game for SA, so you can't criticise it too much.

Was lucky not be LBW to Fidel Edwards early one but apart from that I thought he played really well. JP has a tendency to play all around his pads and look to enforce everything onto the onside but that purely is a creation on his part to play one day cricket. He is far more technically sound and correct in four day cricket and that’s presumably where the analogy to Jacques Kallis originated from (Duminy has been described as the left handed version of Kallis), for his concentration skills are still miles apart. As long as he can alleviate his desire to score of everything he can go really far, for the kid has got everything.

Decent recovery so far from De Villiers and Smith. Smith starting to time the ball much better, and De Villiers was easing his way in until Rampaul came on and he climbed into him.

Was about to post about how gun Edwards is at the death. Gets hit for 6.

EDIT: Ah, top of off next ball! Good man.

Taylor is such a good ODI bowler. Has to be up in the Top Five for mine. Ramdin has kept very well this in this match, which is a very nice change.

Cricket is such a stupid game. Edwards bowls a length ball to Duminy, just misses the edge and off-stump. Bowls the same ball later, 6 runs.

EDIT: Spectator takes the best crowd catch I've ever seen. Fairplay sir.

Duminy run-out! Yesssss. Ramdin you gun, if you make some runs I'll give you MOTM. And that's a high honour.

Team hat-trick? Going to say yes.

Top display from Taylor, think South Africa will think there around 30 runs short today. Game on.
With this WI line-up? Agreed that SA should have made more once Smith & deVilliers got going, but I reckon they're safe enough against this lot.

Yes I agree it's not the strongest line up West Indies have fielded, as ever the importance of Chanderpaul's wicket will be huge. If he bats through and a few useful cameos around him, you just never know.
