Ha ha, could not handle a part timer. What losers.

And in the neck of woods of WW, moon and starts are situated closer than to the clouds. LMAO.

The rain has however worked fair for both parties. If not for rain would have been 1 - 1 now. SL needs to find their best combination in the bowling.

The things that was noticed in the bowling attack was that Herath was not effective against the top order. WI top order seems to be liking the ball to come in. Lakmal was sore to the eye. Mathews bowled only three overs but looked extremely threatening with bounce and movement. His medium - fast stuff is very much missed. Fernando should come in the place of Lakmal. Randiv in place of Herath.

3rd test: Dilshan, Paranavithana, Sangakkara, MJ, Samaraweera, Mathews, PJ, Randiv, Kulasekara, Mendis, Fernando

"Part timer"? I guess you didn't see Nash take a wicket in the first Test!! , furthermore for such "losers" it's a shame you haven't beaten us IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD yet isn't it?

And in closing it's STARS!!..not "starts".

As for the last test, i believe we have to make some serious decisions!!, having both Sammy and Bravo in the team is hurting our middle order imo, if the selectors had any guts about them they'd drop Sammy and bring in Smith for this very important game, also Shilly will be out for sure so it's either gonna be Pascal or Russell coming in, i'd prefer Pascal right now.

Gayle
Barath
Darren Bravo
Smith
Chanders
Nash (c)
Dwayne Bravo
Baugh
Benn
Pascal
Roach

Would be my team, two strike bowlers in Pascal and Roach, one medium in Bravo and Benn takes care of the spin, that batting order is more than capable of getting above 300 i'd say, especially if we bat first.

Sammy bowled well, I'd retain him. But he needs to contribute with the bat. That lineup looks awfully short of bowling options.

what ever **** it is. If not for rain and for some selection blunders would have beaten your arses badly. But any way no, complaints, we should have beaten your arses with what ever we got. Time to let the XI ****ers who wear the blue cap playing out their get the message.

yeah yeah!!.."woulda".."coulda".."shoulda"!!.. the fact is it's all even right now!! , you talk about "selections" well if we had Taylor, Edwards and Sarwan in this side there's no doubt we'd be better!!, so we can all play that game,

I think all the pressure is on SL now!!.. you were big favorites before the series started and was riding on a crest of a wave after beating Australia!!..now you're one test away from either drawing or losing a series at home to "lowly WI" .

This is all very childish.

I see it as a very evenly matched test series so far with rain robbing Windies in the first test and then robbing Sri Lanka in the 2nd.

Honors are quite rightly even going into the 3rd test. A comination of a few of our players performing exceptionally, SL adjusting to life after Murali and rain have made this an evenly matched series.

I still see severe flaws in this West Indies squad and Sammy must never open the bowling again IMHO. I am seriously worried for Sammy, he is simply not justifying his place in the side. Having said that, Dwayne Bravo needs to buck his ideas up, he is far far better than he has shown in this series so far.

I reserve special praise for the batting of Sangakarra and Darren Bravo in this match. They were both a joy to watch. I was very impressed with Bravo during his stay at the end of the test in very bad light against the spinning ball. He is going to be a huge plus for us over the next decade or two IMHO.

Really happy to see Baugh with fifty. I've always rated his batting to an extent.
He can certainly bat IMHO, but his keeping down the legside needs some work. All in all I'm happy for him to stay in the side for the next few series unless something dramatic happens.

Yeah every time I've watched him keep he's looked pretty poor. He's definitely good enough to bat seven in Test cricket though, IMO.

He has had a technical flaw moving to take balls down the leg side for pretty much his whole career. It worries me that it hasn't been sorted out tbh. But other aspects of his keeping have improved drastically so fingers crossed he can improve with a bit more time at the international level.

Senior Bravo has really disappointed me lately. Hardly justifying his current position when he achieves with neither bat nor ball.

His batting is the worst of the 3 skills at the moment, he is displaying zero discipline with the bat and exposing our lower order to Mendis far too quickly.

Yeah agreed. Furthermore, his bowling isn't great shakes at the moment either. I'd seriously consider his place in the side next year or so when some of the new players begin to stamp their mark.

Agreed. I would never question his ability but if he does not show an improved attitude to batting in the next few months I would drop him from the test side for the extra batter.

Having said that Sammy's enforced presence in the side is going to make it very hard to balance it all up, making it harder to drop Bravo when you have a virtual passenger in the side as captain.

Still think Bravo's a better bowler than Sammy, Russell and Pascal even if his batting declines to a point where he's batting eleven tbh.

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
Right now he is but Russell will be a much better bowler then him very soon as he has all the attributes needed. He moves the ball more than Bravo and is considerably quicker.

Darren Sammy is very useful in seamer friendly conditions but in places like the Subcontinent he will be a passenger time and time again. Bravo is far superior to Sammy in every respect but the WICB have put us in a position where we have to play him no matter what, therefore Bravo's place is in jeapordy unless he changes his attitude.

We've got another alrounder prospect named Kevin Stoute coming through, got very decent stats for Barbados thus far and even took an 8fer for the A-team in England recently which lead to him getting a contract with the WICB, if Sammy and Bravo don't buck up their ideas quickly then Stoute will be on the big stage soon,

As for Baugh, i'm just delighted he got the 50 and made a contribution to the team, so he can keep his place for now but trust me Jahmar Hamilton will be locking down the wicketkeeper position very soon imo!!, great with the gloves and a very good batsman too, the kid was schooled in an English academy so he's not like the Ramdin's of this world.
