Yup. Could have been a very different story if not for the first hour on Day 1. The West Indies' cause has nonetheless not been helped by generally poor fielding (Merv Dillon!) and a close call by Simon Taufel (Kallis edge on 48).Mr Mxyzptlk said:What a toss to lose!
Gibbs was pretty plumb LB on 60 or 70-odd too.Adamc said:The West Indies' cause has nonetheless not been helped by generally poor fielding (Merv Dillon!) and a close call by Simon Taufel (Kallis edge on 48).
Well, 137 is a pretty big one for Kirsten, unfortunately Kallis is still going... should have been out several times already, but he's not the kind of player you want to give too many chances to. Those three dropped catches in the first hour put paid to any hopes the West Indies harboured of keeping the SA total within reach, which is a shame as Dillon and Edwards were bowling quite well.marc71178 said:471-3 and climbing.
I only hope Kirsten goes onto a big one, and Kallis gets out soon.
Exactly, and I went for Kirsten top scorer!Adamc said:Well, 137 is a pretty big one for Kirsten, unfortunately Kallis is still going.
