If that was a problem I doubt he would have continued bowling though. Hopefully the team management will stop with the stupid experiments like Sami, so we can wrap up this ODI series. They should stick with Yasir though, his innings was the only bright spot in the last match.

Inzi wins the toss and, rather surprisingly, decides to field. Apparently this should be a batting track, from what all the experts are stating. Inzi banking on his bowlers to do some damage with the new ball in the 1st hour or so.

OUCH. Simmons twists his ankle going for a routine run. Looked painful, but he seems to be ok now.

Rana has done the early damage by getting Gayle. He's looked the more impressive of the two opening bowlers so far in the match.

Lol at Inzi sprinting after balls in the outfield. He's not playing his normal slips position because of the injury to his hand.

Incidently, I seem to be the only one here at the moment...

actuly not a bad choice choosing sami over anjum and i think he has proven this dicision right with his bowling today. that is what i wanted from the begining. anjum is not international material for now at least.
good innings from chandrapul. lets if he is going to make a century and lara is playing good also in the other end.

I was a bit impressed with Sami today after his first over. He's not taking any wickets but he kept it tight when it counted. I thought that wicket maiden he bowled was very well thought out.

The residents of Karachi just reported a slight earth quake according to GEO News. On an unrelated note, Inzamam just dove to stop a boundary.

Been doing that since 8 am in India. 238 seems like a defendable total, but with younis and Inzi back it will be tough.

Farhat is a joke, the guy he always looks like getting out ala afridi

i think they def should have played afridi in karachi, its his home town, the pitch is perfect for a guy like him

now bringing in afridi in S africa will be a really bad move, hes bound to struggle there if the ptiches are like what india got

Lara becomes the 5th man to break the 10,000 runs in odis mark, and only the second player to break the barrier in both forms of the game.

Nice comfortable win for Pakistan to seal the series. This should boost confidence for Pakistan ahead of the tough tour of SA.

HAHAHAHAHAHA they just made up a "best fielder" award and gave it to Inzi. Inzi did have a great day in the field. Everyone in the whole stadium, including Inzi, cracked up on this..

Just goes to show how pathetic the fielding has been throughout the tournament. I wouldn't be surprised if he had gotten the award even if they were considering both teams.

Forgot to mention that this is the same ground where Lara made his debut and now has reached his 10,000 run milestone.
Lara has a huge following in Pakistan, as in other countries. The Karachi crowd gave him a good send-off and cheered wildly for him.
