Wow!!

That is very silly.
Rudi gives a bad decision, and Benson doesn't have enough evidence to overturn, even though it didn't look like he hit it at all.

Anybody feel Rudi gave it because the Windies had no more referrals and knew NZ would refer it?

Actually the sick thing here is the referral system if nothing else is supposed to eliminate the bad decisions. Have to feel for McCullum tbh

My thoughts exactly
I was gonna say that was the perfect case for a referral. Yet the system got it obviously wrong.

Fuming!
That was NZs chance of winning, and to get ****ed over in that way is crazy. Just look at McCullum's reaction. Just look at the Windies appeal.

Shocking.
When I saw the first replay I was breathing a sigh of relief, then bewildered when it wasn't overturned.

:ranting:

Worst decision ever. Poor umpiring all-round. Never looked out watching live. Thought it was always not out and then he raises his finger which was shocking and then the referrel which should have shown clear evidence McCullum didn't hit but no. Dissapointing.

The umpire did have clear evidence that Rudi made a piss poor decision, surely?

Argh, just frustrated that such a horrible decision has ruined what could have been an entertaining finish.

One feels BFJ will have to play out of his skin here.
Frankling can hold up one end, but once a another wicket goes down its all over rover.
