hmmmm. What is up with this tour? Theres all this talk of a hot summer and not enough rain, well how come almost every game of cricket this season has been called off by it?

Gillespie again showing his awesome class at international level, well done to the selectors for spotting his talent and giving him an opportunity. I certainly hope he plays 100+ tests and 200+ ODIs.

Hmmm. Martin >>> Gillespie. Selectors and Gillespie, never really shown much potential apart from really really really bowling advantaged wickets. Expensive, always strays too wide. His pace doesn't give him an advantage at all, in fact it helps the batsmen get it to the boundaries, so that is no excuse to have him in the squad.

New Zealand can't afford to let this drift. If Gayle and Chanderpaul stay in for a while longer it'll be quite easy to push that run rate up from 4 to 6.
