Woah. What had Richardson said to Fleming to make him say that!? It was completely out of line to say something like that to him, especially when on camera.

It should be made clear that it wasn't broadcasted on TV (at least in NZ). The footage stopped after they did the 'thanks mate'

Not out of character one bit. Fleming's evil. He's slowed down a game in South Africa last year in hope that 20 overs wouldn't be bowled. They went off at 19 overs... but got in the extra overs later. That was sly and underhanded.

Of course there's the VB series a few years ago where he deliberately lost a game by a larger margin so SA could get an extra bonus point, hurting Australia's chances.

Yes WI were in a good position, but chasing near on 300 is never an easy one, so to have them at that big odds-on would've seen me betting on NZ if I'd seen it.
