They've been consistent. That's another one that probably shouldn't have been given but DRS has it striking in line by a millimetre. Things are starting to go our way it seems.
Its a pretty standard tactic, Williamson was using it to handle NarineThey've been consistent.
With pitching in line, hitting in line etc, I'm pretty happy for it to be umpire's call. It's still going on to hit the stumps, and I used to hate watching guys like Ponting et al aggressively use that rule in a really cynical way - just get the pad outside the off stump and pretend you're playing a shot.
Ponting used to do it to pace bowlers, particularly inswing bowlers, and at that time not only did we not have DRS, but he also used to be quite intimidating to the umpires. Noone was going to give him out if there was even a chance he got outside the line. Its a pretty standard tactic, Williamson was using it to handle Narine

Williamson's tactic didn't work, did it. Gotta use the bat.
Just slog it boys, Narine is going to get you sooner or later
Skip down the track and hit him over his head. As everyone has said countless times, hes not going to beat them for flight.Definitely attack permaul, best just see out narine though
wish we did it 90 odd overs agothat's how you deal with close in fielders ish
Tailenders are never confident coming down the track. One misjudgement and you look like an idiot. Plenty of runs at the other end.Skip down the track and hit him over his head. As everyone has said countless times, hes not going to beat them for flight.
I think that ball illustrates my pointTailenders are never confident coming down the track. One misjudgement and you look like an idiot. Plenty of runs at the other end.
Has bowled really well. I honestly didn't expect him to do this well but full credit to him.Yes Sunil! Top class bowling in a first innings that. Excellent stuff.
