He could be as good as Oram, but as useful as his bowling has been so far he'll never be the bowler Cairns was.I've always banged on about Anderson's bowling and I probably over rate his current stuff a bit but he genuinely has it in him to be a test standard operator once he feels confident enough in his own body to bowl at full tilt and if you pair that sort of bowling with his batting which also has room to get even better you get an allrounder who can be up there with Oram, Cairns and Reid.
Southee has averaged 27 since the Australia tour. Both are quality. Hey NZ, make more tracks like this one, not the roads the previous 4 tests were played on. It's in your interest. It's in the interest of test cricket.boult's avg 26.92 ! southee 32.81

I am trying to find some quotes online, against sa we lost in 3 days and two days before the game started it looked green apparently. However I found this quote in the game write up when SA came out to knock off the winning runsSpeaking of wickets, Is Hamilton still one of the (if not the) best tracks in the country anyone?
Alviro Peterson's poor series with the bat continued, when he edged Bracewell's first ball to slip, but Smith and Amla closed out the game unperturbed, striking at over five an over as they wiped the target inside 20 overs. Amla flayed New Zealand's seamers through the off side, unfurling an array of drives off the front and back foot, while Smith bettered even Amla's scoring rate as he exemplified how true the pitch was still playing. Smith had time to make a half-century before hitting the winning runs.
GOT EM! Highly agree with this.No no no no no. We want young spinners to concentrate on spinning the ball as much as they can. Accuracy comes with age - through bowling thousands of overs and maturing physically and mentally.
Not to mention that the message it sends to the orignally picked reserve on tour.Brathwaite only arrived 2 days ago so its fair enough to let him acclimatise first.
