But seriously, I've watched the CPL and it's nowhere near the spectacle that the IPL or Big Bash are.

Narine= top wicket taker

Gayle= amoungst the top scorers

Dwayne Bravo= key in the title winning team

Pollard= best fielder around and explosive batting

The list in endless and these are the type of impact players IPL will be missing once we stop our talent going to the circus.
I especially like how you listed 4 players then described the list as endless. I mean, there were only a total of 12 West Indian players in IPL 7 (out of a total of 178)...surely the list ends somewhere right?

CPL is on the rise with a plethora of talent from ALL OVER THE WORLD...no players excluded from our competition. And with no WI players in the IPL that would give our league the chance to seriously challenge the others...

LOL yeah the people "you know" represent the nation!!..thanks for sharing :D .
And this is a gem too. I like how you genuinely believe that you, living out in Brazil, somehow understand what Indian people want more than a man living in India himself. Beautiful. And this is ignoring how you think you know more about what Indian cricket fans want to watch than two Indian cricket fans do. I love it.

I will not be debating with a poster clearly hellbent on looking for an argument. Either stick to the topic at hand or you will be reported again.

Sure, but you can only field 4 internationals and then rely on local talent outside of your national team to bolster the teams. From what I've seen the local talents in the CPL can't compare to the locals in India and Australia. The competition is a tier lower.

This is fantastic too. I love how you feel a league that boasted 20-odd international players out of a total of 90-odd players (non of whom were from India, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe) can be described as hosting 'a plethora of talent from ALL OVER THE WORLD'.

I also like how you think taking 12 players out of the IPL (Which has a total of 178 players, 61 of whom are international) will have that great an effect. And that the CPL, which had a total economic impact of 106 million USD on the Carribean, can compete with the IPL, who's auction alone saw the teams splash around 10 million USD each.

That's your opinion...i don't believe the big bash is better than ours at the current time. Plus like i said we've got talent from all over the globe..SA, Pakistan, Bang, SL etc!!..players left in the cold by the likes of IPL and these players play with a determination and spirit that creates good matches.

Pieterson
Philander
Sangakara
Ross Taylor
Shakib
Murali
Hafeez

All those play in the CPL..quality players.

Narine is currently banned from bowling in BCCI events.
Chris Gayle probably has more twitter updates than runs this year.

There are plenty better fielders than Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo is a no-rounder.

Also just admire how impressive that list is, and then realise how I left out all the Caribbean players and it doesn't look any worse without them.

Well..Shakib plays for Barbados..as does Elton Chigembura (zim) ...The cpl can't be blamed for the bcci not allowing players to play in our league (another selfish act *smh*)

Well if you actually use common sense you'd know that within those "twelve players" are a group of players who are considered some of the biggest stars in the league..therefore if you take away players who are considered "stars" logic would suggest the product will be hurt...but if you wish to be in denial then that's your business.

Furthermore yes we've got twelve players there so how many Aus, English, Sri-lanka, Bang, NZ and SA players are there in comparison? please enlighten me!!.

And what does that have to do with their performances in the IPL? :blink:

Yeah it doesn't look "any worse"..just missing the top wicket taker and one of the best batsmen in the whole comp...
