well bowled Anderson
. I mean unbeatable score.275 is a long way off. I'm going to guess 234 all out and I think I'm being optimistic. Jimmy's average dead on 30 again.
EDIT - as LOB pointed out.
He does if they bring in a national from the away side. But as they already have Michael Holding they don't bring someone in. I would much prefer Ian Ward as the last man.Eurgh I thought Nick Knight usually ****ed off for the home series?
Gets the early games before Warne or someone come over. Deeply unfortunate I know.Eurgh I thought Nick Knight usually ****ed off for the home series?
Agreed, cricket was better in the days when bowlers used to just hand wickets back to the opposition on a whimI noticed cricketers are super impatient these days when bowling. They want a wicket every ball.
In what way is Cricinfo giving priority to IPL over the test match? I'm not remotely interested in IPL but have never begrudged the fact that Cricinfo covers it, or felt that such coverage undermines its coverage of real cricket. They're just doing what any business would do and catering for those customers - presumably mostly Indians - who're interested in that stuff.Crackinfo will always remain crackinfo. They are giving IPL live score priority than this test's score. Ludicrous
I presume at AndyZalt's location IPL is listed first. I figure in England the Test match would be the first headline and its first here in Australia too.In what way is Cricinfo giving priority to IPL over the test match? The incessant criticism of Cricinfo by users of this forum always amuses me, as none of the site's critics is ever able to suggest a better resource. Ok, some don't appreciate the jokes on their live commentary. Is that really something to get so worked up about?
If only I'd known. Definitely a hanging offence ;-)I presume at AndyZalt's location IPL is listed first. I figure in England the Test match would be the first headline and its first here in Australia too.
Cheer up mate. Just letting you know I put some money on Bell being leading run scorer in the first innings of this Test. Paying $7, do you like his chances? If only I'd known. Definitely a hanging offence ;-)
Yes I agree it has lacked any real devil, even with the deliveries where he's been up around the mid 80's (mph). Is it just me or has Broad's bowling been a bit... floaty? Not especially slow, inaccurate or gun-barrel but just he just seems to be "putting it there" rather than getting any zip off the pitch.
