Hope Gayles smacks his way rapidly to 200, WI all out for 350 and we have a proper contest where all three (plus a tie) results are very real possibilities.

Then WI winning would be good.

Edit: Didn't realise there was hardly any time left today, so drop those figures a bit.

Shaping up nicely this Test. Last over of the day, wouldn't that be a disaster if Benn broke his foot or a toe from that Johnson delivery? Looks ok.

Reckon Johnson is the bowler I'd least like to face. Sure he'll give you some runs, but I'd be more scared about getting hurt 8|

Would depend on Benn's foot now imo. If it is hurt enough to hinder his bowling tomorrow, can't see them declaring.

I reckon that the WIndies should go out, bat for two overs then declare. Nothing worse as a side to have to go out and then come back in again.

Can't want to watch tomorrow. Although it will likely be a draw, I can't help but suspect that Australia are in a much stronger position than the Windies.

I can't see the Windies getting much more than 350 in front, I wouldn't put it past the Aussies to chase that down, providing one of the top 5 really get going knocks up a ton.

That being said, if Australia want to force a draw then they no doubt will. I can't see the batting attack that we have getting bowled out in one day on a pitch like this.

I reckon about 4 overs and get the lead to about 315 off 84 overs so it still leaves West Indies 4 overs with the new ball if need be.

Even though Australia were 282/3 after 90 overs in the first innings, I doubt Gayle would be prepared to declare overnight.

He did. All of his team-mates presumably knew it didn't carry, hence why no one other than Bollinger appealed for the catch.
Yeah, I meant that the result would've been the same had he said 'I don't know' or 'Yes I caught it' - they still would've checked. Turns out he said he caught it according to others on here too. Watching his reaction at first I thought he was indicating he didn't know.

Does anyone know when Australia next tours the West Indies?

Hopefully they can put together a killer team and I have a reason to go on a Calypso tour
