They could only manage 170 odd on a 300 pitch in Adelaide off 50 overs, so what makes anyone think they would have chased down 150 from 24 on that pitch.

Channel nine`s has to be just about the worst cricket coverage in the world. Watching a delayed telecast and still missed seeing wickets fall because of add breaks. If one more of their lame commentators makes a joke about Pollard`s watch helping his timing I am gonna throw something thru the tv.

How did Voges open ahead of Hopes? If Watson & Marsh are going to be out, surely Hopes should open. He showed when the field was up he is at his best. Can't believe one of the best one day domestic openers can't get a gig on the merry-go-round that is the Australian team as an opener.

It was probably just a mad panic to re-arrange the lineup as Marsh pulled his back while the coin toss was happening. I am pretty sure if they had time to think about it things may have been a little different.

I was fair annoyed at that. I had money on Hopes to top score as soon as I hear Marsh was injured and Roach was out. When Voges opened I spewed.

So good that I've got all my V-Day stuff out of the way about 15 minutes ago. Now I can just sit back and relax and watch the Cricket in the air-con.

And just before that he pulled off a pretty good save on the boundary. Looking high on confidence in the field so far, so hopefully he can do something with the bat too.
