Oh for chrissakes, a story on Bill Lawry's pigeons. I always knew this day would come.
You missed the last half-dozen pigeon stories they've done?

Ha, I did! And I'm always thinking I'm unlucky... You mean there've been others besides the odd casual mention?

I've seen a few, I think there was one during the Ashes as well. Didn't see today's one so I'm not sure if they're just recycling the same material.

Anyway, Bracken finally out. Hopefully Gayle can find some form (perhaps an odd thing to say, since he scored 317 three Tests ago), and looking forward to watching Lara bat obviously. Also looking forward to seeing how long the new Brett 'line and length' Lee can restrain himself from bowling a bouncer. My guess is three balls.

they just confirmed the ball Lee hit did go over the grandstand out of the gabba...

it was found in the practice nets

I don't think anyone hits it longer...

I've seen 5-6 sixes by him go out of the ground at verious venues and he is the first guy ever to hit one out of the gabba..

LOL! You reckon Lee's forgot his promise to bowl line and length already?
maybe it's just lack of controll atm lol..

because he hasn't bowled a bouncer or yorker yet which he normaly would have...

he has mostly been on a good length it's been his line that's been off..

That's your fault Vic!
If I wasn't angry enough already, then Nicholas had to start his tripe.

"Sunshine here at the 'Gabba, but not in the heart of Chris Gayle. He's out"

My TV will not make it through the summer unharmed.

Gah... typical Gayle dismissal. I thought before the series that he might really struggle against McGrath, and my opinion hasn't changed. :( Go Sarwan!

Oh my I was coming back to this thread just to comment about that. Nicholas is the worst commentator, I can't stand him. I wish he was seriously gone from the Nine team, that article saying he was out of a job just got my hopes up :(

Seriously its lines like that that make me think how the hell can people rate him as a commentator?

How bad was his foot work with that shot. Really poor, even for him.
