***Official*** West Indies in Australia

Well done Hussey !! Great Innings.

BTW watching the Television coverage - saw the directions for the toilet facilities indicated as

" St.John " :D :D .

(Never saw this before despite having lived in SA in the past and having been to the Adelaide Oval on several occasions. ) :D

Jeez i just wish michael holding would take over the captiancy of the windies, he whinges non stop. Although mostly he spaeks the truth I'm not to sure how many more years of listening to it I can take.

Evenly poised game at hand.

Australia with a slight advantage as the Windies look a bit down.

Great knock from Hussey, with great support from MacGill.

Demolition Man, you should go straighten up West Indies cricket yourself if you're that tired of it.

Great innings from Hussey. He's amazing. Now he averages something like 110 in Tests, to go along with 123.5 in ODIs. I wonder if anyone has averaged over 100 in both Tests and ODIs at any point in time. Probably not.

Too bad Clown failed again. He'll surely be on the chopping block, unless he dominates with his bowling after all of the other bowlers get smashed and force Ponting to let him bowl.

Symonds didnt look like himself today. He wasn't playing his natural game. Which showed, in the end by him scoring 9 off 51 balls.

Jeez i kept saying, put him in , get rid of that hack katich and nooooo, noooo. Well now try and move hussey out of the team.
So did I, although it was at the expense of Hayden. :shy:

Bit of a rotter of a performance by the Windies though, letting a potential hundred-or-so lead go so easily after they'd done so much hard work.

And that throw at the stumps from Powell was one of the most limp-wristed efforts I've ever seen. It was like watching Quentin Crisp playing darts.

i always knew Hussey would do well........... dunno why they didnt bring him in 5000 1st class runs ago....

go team!

A slash does not go to a fielder from Hinds. The thing with is he wants to hit the fuller balls of Lee but cannot do it and makes his attempt look really bad. A smilar shot got him out in the first inning. Wont learn really.

Wow, Hussey is really struggling at test level compared to ODI's. I notice he only averages 110 in test cricket compared to his 123 on Onedayers :D

well a satisfying day for Australia afterall looking at how well WI had done earlier, right on track for a victory.

lack of Brains is his problem.
I wouldn't say that really. He has a bit of the Clarke syndrome at the moment where he has all the shots in the book but just can't help himself outside offstump.

The difference? About 4 years and 40-odd Tests. Clarke is inexperienced and doesn't have himself together at Test level yet. Sarwan has little excuse, considering his apparently prodigious talent, for averaging just 40 after 57 Tests.
