Langer had never been out in the nineties until Perth last year, where he made 191 and 97 against Pakistan.
Implies that if you get Sachin out relatively cheaply, you win.shaka said:found this quite funny :

Erm, by all reports didn't the umpires not give him a chance to come good in the 1st 2 games?ClownSymonds said:Amazing innings from BC Lara. It's too bad for the West Indies that he couldn't come good until the series was already over.
They were about as toothless as the Australian attack the day before. Bowled with about as much heart and perseverance. Fidel Edwards worked up some good reverse swing with the old ball, troubling Ponting consistently. Dwayne Bravo bowled intelligently and purposefully. The pitch map shows that Powell largely bowl accurately, whilst Collymore was Collymore. It was a flat wicket, but the West Indies did not bowl poorly.social said:Have to say that WI attack is totally toothless, the wicket really flat and Aus would be disappointed at being "only" 3 - 220 odd.
In the paper, it mentioned that some aus players thought he might be hanging up the gloves after taking the record, and lara even joked about it in a press conference. Wonder if anything like that is trueEntrael said:A great few days of cricket in general.
Good to see Lara back in some form and scoring runs. Everyone appreciates what hes done for cricket, and i was more then happy to see him break Border's record.
