I already have a miniature bat signed by S.Waugh and have chatted with Tendulkar at length and taken enough memorablia of his.

But yes Lara.
Yeah I have Sachin's and Lara's signatures when I went an Indian training session and the ICC World XI vs. Victoria match respectively. Don't have Waugh's unfortunately. :(

Its the whole idea that all 3 of their signatures at once is so  3 grand is huge though.

Well, that was worth waiting for, absolute genius. :) Closing in on Border's record as well. I wish Nine weren't so damn insistent on showing the news at 6pm sharp...8-)

I just knew Lara was going to come good today...absolutely brilliant. Interestingly though, the rest of the team has failed while Lara has done well again.

It'd be even better if they just delayed it until at least 6:30pm :D

Loving every run of Lara's innings. It's always good to see a great innings from any batsman.

Even better to see one from Lara! :D

Not one of Lara's best innings today, at least not for the first hundred. Afterwards he improved though, and while I'm not watching it now it sounds like he's getting better as the innings goes on.

Oh well, he didn't wait for tomorrow then. I hope he'll at least save Border's record for tomorrow. :p

Wow. Before this series started I was thinking how magical it would be for Lara to break Borders record in his last visit to Australia, with a big score, and it looks like hes going to do it.
Fairy tale stuff really.

Hes been scratchy early on but a double hundred at a strike rate of 75 aint too bad!

Btw how long until stumps???

When Lara is mistiming the ball earlier, he gets more determined and makes it count..

I remember in a one dayer in Australia he was playing very slowly years back. He was a bit sick maybe. He totally let lose and hit Warne for 3 consecutive sixes in the latter part of the inning.

An inning of two halves.

Also takes him clear of Wally Hammond with 8 double centuries, second only to Bradman's 12 now. Only player other than Hammond to hit more than two double centuries against Australia. Looking forward to tomorrow, should get past Border and will be in a very aggressive mood with only the tail to bat with. :)
