Broad the man to end the fun as well. :@
Anyways well done Canada!!!

From what I've heard most of the Canadian cricketers are blokes with regular jobs and they are basically weekend cricketers who have to spend their own money to keep their cricketing passions alive, so hats off to them for managing to give a test side a run for their money.

Broad the saviour. Whole thing still pretty embarrassing for England. Wright, Tredwell and Yardy must not play under any circustances. Keep wright as specialist 12th man if you must but please don't play him.

Of course the big issue for them was the ****house top order display, Trott excepted. Bopara coming in might add more to it but mostly we have to trust someone will perform. I'm willing to go along with the KP-as-opener experiment if it means Prior stays down the order. KP has been little more than a pinch hitter in ODIs lately so we may as well play him as one.

Just have to hope Strauss, Bell et. al will find some form ahead of the knockouts. I never thought I'd feel worse about this England side than I did about the 2007 side but here we are.

Gambhir getting runs is important in the long run. Hope Dhoni can get himself into the act as well.

Yes, you've heard correct. All of these Canadian cricketers are just working professionals with regular 9-5 jobs.

Gambhir may want to retire himself out here. It is imperative that both Yuvraj and Raina get to bat.

India in making good use of the powerplay stunner.
There was an interesting tidbit on this buried in cricinfo today. Apparently most teams really struggle to score 40+ in the batting powerplay (which is what you really want, minimum) on a regular basis.

Jamie How is wicket keeping atm. Only noticed when he took that catch.

They have the ICC player rating when they introduce the new batsman. Suresh Raina is 28th.

Impressive from Southee. Didn't expect him to be able to rough up Gambhir like that on low wickets. Played, lad.
