Didn't even come close to losing a game in the 2007 WC warm-ups, though.

T20 warm-ups are always going to be a bit more unpredictable/volatile because T20's are. Reckon ODI warm-ups are a batter predictor and that OZ are in real trouble once they play someone half-decent.
"Obviously the result did not go the way we would have liked but again we all understand that they are practice games."

"It's more about giving boys an opportunity than about winning."

"A practice game is a practice game. So it's important to maximize the chance to give everybody the opportunity to bat and bowl, and more importantly, to get used to the conditions.''

This is what Michael Clarke had so say regarding the practice game defeats, guess that just makes it clear exactly how upbeat for these games the whole Australian team was.

Would be so awesome if Canada win this.

Bret Hart should have walked in as the #11 batsman.

Meanwhile, Canada need 17 runs off 25 balls with one wicket left. Can the Indo-Pak pair get the job done for Canada ?

All of a sudden Strauss favours Tredwell over Shahzad when he needs a wicket. Shaz now unable to bowl out his 10. The man can't count.

Oh, great, another boundary.

For ****'s sake England. What the **** is wrong with you.

Haha wow, epic carry by Broad. That would've been proper embarrassing, and there'll be some red faces regardless.

England can't afford to play like that against most sides. I wouldn't be surprised if they failed to make the quarter-finals personally.
