Well Waugh's XI was known as Waugh's untouchables, what about Pontings men?
This present Aussie ODI squad is the best ever ODI team that cricket has seen.
The best thing about them is the manner in which they change their game. A few months ago they played Bangladesh and did not aim for any records only one aim - a win! nothing is sweeter than a victory not even a 5 for by Gillespie or a 150 off 120 balls by Gilchrist.
I must say I'm a big fan of this team, each and evry member of their squad is just perfect. The media may harp on about Bichel's expensive bowling or Martyn's slump in form but to them it doesn't matter one bit - because they always win! Kudos to Australians for raising the standard of the game and Kudos for winning the VB series (you guys and South Africa are very very very strong at home)
The late Border-Gavaskar trophy saw batting at its best, on one hand you saw the patience of Dravid and Laxman, against the fast scoring rate of Hayden and Langer. The world may say Australians are coming down but to me they will always remain the best team since Lloyd retired. ciao!

It's hard to figure out what the point of that is, exactly, but it does seem to be their intention. C'mon guys, give the people out there who've travelled so far to see you something to cheer about. I honestly can't see the point of just indulging in batting practise out there - maybe they're trying to avoid the biggest losing margin ever... The commentators made some noise about that on channel 9, but didn't tell us what that margin was.Arrow said:
