I wonder how much longer the selectors will keep Dizzy & Tait out of the team by persisting by Clark & Lewis...

What he means was he was brought into the squad to replace McGrath. He's not in the XI however.

Sri Lankans doing superb here. 50 partnership between Dilshan and Kapugedera from only around 5 overs.

Here's the lower order hitting that's been missing all series. Brilliant stuff.

lovely last 10 over display from Kapudegera and Dilshan
Murali gets a wee ducky
What an absolutely blinder of an innings from 18 year old Kapugedera along with Dilshan.

Wow !! Absolute beaut !!

This definitely was the late oder slog that was missing from previous games..

I still stand by my previous comment Re- Kaushalya Weeraratne.. I believe that guy can be a genuine late order slogger/allrounder for SL.

Murali is an absolute crap batsman and it annoys me that he has not made any effort to improve his batting or learn to play down and rotate the strike late in the innings in ODIs.

I seriously think he should be a Super sub (for as long as these Super Sub rules are there) because he only serves in one half of the Game, wheras Bandara can serve much better in the Team in both innings.

I still think Australia's batting order may find this total well within their reach , especially with Gilly, Ponting, Mr.Cricket, Martyn and Roy in their ranks.

Yeah, but if Katich is in their for a long time, it will give us less of a chance.

Why would you put Tait in the ODI side?
