A few Indians might have something to say about whether Lara is the best player of spin around or not...
Nah, even as an Indian fan I believe Lara is the best player of spin in the world. His footwork is nothing short of amazing, and with Murali claiming he's the best player he's ever bowled against, that's enough for me.

However I know Warne said Tendulkar was the best batsman he's ever seen, but whether that was against spin bowling, his bowling alone, or all-round batting I'm not sure. Either way, against spin bowling Lara is second to none in my opinion.

Australia A 175/6 after 38 overs

Mike Hussey just out for 70 and Cameron White on 41 not out.

King 6-1-31-1
Collins 6-0-23-1 (3 nb, 2 wides)
Dillon 10-0-53-2
Bravo 5-0-22-1 (2 wides) - Hussey was dropped by Browne off him
Gayle 8-0-24-0
Samuels 3-0-23-1

Yesterday and today the West Indies have had Aus A 5 down for not many and let them get away. It's a bit disappointing. I'll be annoyed if the tail wags again.

King's got rid of White - caught Dillon at mid-on (or could've been mid-off): 202/7 off 44.2. Need to show that they can wrap things up clinically now.

Aus A have now got to 232/8 off 48.4 after Lee/Hauritz added a brisk 29 off 4.3 overs.

It seems Windies want to stick to this policy of bowling a spinner at the death. Gayle was hammered last night, Samuels is doing a steady job tonight.

I would hope that if they were in a full international, Bravo or Collins would have been brought back to try and bowl them out.

Bowling a spinner can be risky, but it can also be easier to score with the ball coming onto the bat quicker

Hauritz out for 24 off 18 balls. I think he is a better batsman than bowler atm. Cameron White must be close to displacing Brad Hogg from the ODI team with the form he is in atm.

Gayle looks to be in really good form, he just needs to try & convert those starts into big scores.

Gayle seems in good touch. He's started briskly again. 28/0 after 6.

Gayle 19 off 14.
Hinds 9 off 22.

lol Gayle is playing some magnificent shots off both Lewis & Lee....he should be good to watch tommorow night too.

But what does let Gayle down is that he can be extremely lazy between the wickets.

I love watching Gayle, he was extremely entertaining today and yesterday, but unfortunately he's got out in the 40s again. :(

His running to the wickets is absolutely hilarious. Probably not for any WI supporters who have a heart attack every time the opposition appeals, but from the neutral its quite humorous.

Eh... Gayle doesn't need to run. Watching him score a 79-ball century in a Test match against South Africa off one leg convinced me of that. :p

Marshall gone to White...have no idea what he was shaking his head about though.

Im not convinced that the West Indies needed to bring Xavier Marshall to Australia. He's still only 18 & would probably be better off going on a number of West Indies 'A' tours.

Hinds got an absolutely appalling lbw decision. Really, sometimes you feel sympathetic to an umpire, but that was blatantly going down leg.

I imagine he was just annoyed with himself for getting out cheaply?
