I don't think he is as good as everyone thinks he is. He fails in pressure and he gets so many chances.
Agreed. His first class stats isn't to impressive as well. But, you have to give credit where it's due and he has batted well and is a handy bowler. But his slow inning today might make a few batting shifts in the next match.

It doesn't play a part it just that Australia make the most of bad decision, unlike other teams. So these bad decision get glorified.

Clarke is gooooone, it looks like Hyaden back for next game and Clarke back down the order.
Why? He made 38 solid runs, which is still higher than anything Hayden managed in the qualifying stages! The way he got out hardly suggested to me that he was outdone; he was massively unlucky to have that go on to the stumps. At the time he was just beginning to pick things up, so he was pacing his innings intelligently given the way he was playing early and the way the Pakistanis bowled to him.

Ponting gone. Pakistan might be back in this.
They've been back in it for some time; as soon as they started tightening the screws, the Aussies haven't looked like they have the facility to push the scoring when they need to (and they will need to - they'll be well afraid of Razzaq and Afridi if it comes down to some quick runs).

Whatever score Australia makes...even if it is 150 runs....I will never take the Australian Bowlers for lightly. For me, to beat Australia, you need to beat their bowlers not their batsman.

Lehmann has made a complete fool out of himself this series. The way he was bowled by Shoaib, the fact that he hasn't scored any runs and how he played such a stupid shot. Bring back Hayden.
some people will do anything just to get FTB back in.
lehmann fails in 2 games(despite already winning a game in the series) and they call for his head, hayden fails for pretty much an entire career, and people want him back

U have to play player's in their best position and Clarke best position is in the middle order not in the top order. If u want to play another opening batsmen u might as well play Elliott.

Clarke's record opening suggest that he does it quite well. He only averages 25 at number seven, and at three and four he also has poor averages. If he plays in the middle order, it has to be at number five.

Razzak and Afridi can only chip in some quick runs, but they need someone to really built an innings. Only Inzi can do that, but i don't think he will be able to do it, have often seen him falter while chasing
razzaq is more than capable of building an innings.

Kamran Akmal had the opportunity to run our Lehmann. As the television replays show, he has knocked the bail off with his gloves!!! :D :D :D :D :D

yes because kaspa has been bowling better.
Not in the ODI's this year. There are plenty of reasons to pick Kasper right now but none to drop Lee right now. He's gotten the opportunities and has bowled really well, stats notwithstanding which have him averaging less than 20 per wicket.

Incidentally, Ahkmal's botched run-out attempt didn't matter because Boof just played an 'interesting' shot to be bowled.

I can't believe they keep playing this fat cow over Hayden.
Why Hayden? Bring in the Hussey Brothers. If not, why don't selectors give Justin Langer a chance ?
