One could say that the ball is moving around a little bit...

I'm not expecting tea to be tasting too good.

while watching the H/L's from the semi fianl first thing i noticed was the big In swing that Anwar produces and this is what i wrote in another forum earler today

Just was the H/L's of the game basically the ending part of the Pak inning and the Aus inning....i have to say the effort the Pak players put in was great...everyone was throwing themelves around on the field and the intesnity was very obvious from Pakistani players......
really liked the opening bowlers, the right arm fast bowler Anwar bowled nicely and usually bowls a nice in swingeing delieveries, but may be he is little predictable coz in swinging balls is wht he mostly bowls...and Jamshed, the leftie, bowls more like a regular left arm fast bowler...with good line and was colcked above 135kmph(meaning if he was in India he would have had made a million from endoresments already)...
should be a good game tonight.

I was thinking that Anwar's in swing would make him predictable but it is turning out to be the main weapon. isnt cricket a funny game.?

I turned on the TV just before the the Indian innings began. That bowling is absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best balls I've seen bowled in a long time. For multiple people to say "shades of Wasim Akram" about a bowler says it all, really. These guys would cause trouble for international batsmen, let alone U-19'ers.

I want Pakistan U-19 bowlers to replace there senior patners, please. No, just kidding but kids have shown some spirit during the final. Waiting for the final verdict.

Just watched the highlights of the wickets.

There is no conceivable way I can imagine that a ball starting three feet outside offstump, and then hitting middle, can be played.

Can someone tell me what the hell the conditions are like. And don't say "umm swinging" or I'll throw something at you :p

Are these conditions that haven't been seen at all during the WC?

Conditions : Swinging, LOL.

Forget the conditions, Anwar Ali is throwing bomberangs (pardon my spelling) but man honestly, if the wicket keeper stops collecting the ball it will return to bowler. Ahh, Jadeja just dropped in the slips on Anwar Ali bowl.

I was thinking the same thing, but then again I've seen many miraculous things being done by all sorts of players in the world so I guess this is just another.

Also, when viewed from a different angle it doesn't really look as much like swing as it does seam. I think the commentator (I forget his name) for Sky Sports mentioned it's more like bending the line than swinging it.

So, are the conditions just extremely difficult, or is this Anwar guy a star in the making? I mean, Chris Martin was swinging it around corners against Australia last year, so swinging the ball a long way doesn't necessarily mean a lot.

Is this something he's likely to be doing a lot at international level?

It's hard to say what the conditions are like. Not many clouds, not much wind (if any), sun setting in Sri Lanka. I don't know what else you can really pick up from the screen, though. India were spinning it a lot early on, apparently, if that means anything. Conditions analysis isn't my thing, really. :p

I would say that the bowling has been incredible though, regardless of the conditions.

What a pathetic batting performance by the Indian's. They've dropped the World Cup in my opinion, lets see if they can fight back.

The conditions can't be THAT bad! Surely?!?!

28 run partnership for the 8th wicket so far. 59 runs to win at under 2 an over, its not over yet.

Another dropped catch just before - the Pakistan captain has been really emotive in this game with both positive and negative sides, and that bowler who had a catch dropped, what a leer!
